Surgical gloves – synthetic Biogel® Neoderm®

Help is at hand for allergy sufferers

If natural rubber latex allergies or chemical sensitivities to accelerators are a concern – for patients or clinicians, this glove made of polychloroprene is the answer. Manufactured without the chemicals commonly know as accelerators (thiurams mercaptobenzothiazole, diphenylthiourea, diphenyl guanidine, dithiocarbamates) eliminating allergic reactions against those chemicals.

A clinical study on 25 pre-diagnosed Type IV allergy participants found no reactions when using Biogel® NeoDerm®.1

A hypoallergenic, non-pyrogenic, sterile and powder-free, reduces the risk of post-operative complications related to those issues.

Biogel coating on the inner surface makes gloves easy to don even with damp hands, and soothes the skin to prevent moisture loss7

A low AQL* of 0.65 is achieved through 100% air inflation inspection prior to packaging

* AQL = Acceptable Quality Level refers to the maximum number of defective products that could be considered acceptable during the random sampling of an inspection, in this case freedom from holes in gloves.

Some of the many benefits of the Biogel Neoderm surgical gloves:

  • Powder-free to eliminate starch powder-related complications4, 5, 6
  • Every glove (100 %) is air-inflation tested and visually inspected before packaging and sterilization for quality and user confidence
  • Low dermatitis potential
  • Industry-leading AQL freedom from holes of 0.657
  • Non-pyrogenic
