Single-use scrub suits contribute to the hospital’s infection control. BARRIER^® scrub suits are produced in a controlled environment from low-linting materials and are only worn once. Wearing 100% fresh clothing is very important for psychological reasons, but is also proven to make a difference from a safety point of view. A study from the UK has shown that microorganisms can survive in hospital fabrics for several months. Another study shows that our single-use scrub suits can contain less number of microorganisms compared to a reusable scrub suit.
