Mepore IV is reinforced for extra strength ensuring reliable fixation for intravascular devices and cannulas. Its high vapour permeability allows excess moisture to evaporate. Being transparent, Mepore IV makes monitoring of the incretion site easier.

When to use Mepore IV

Mepore IV protects the catheter site and provides a secure fixation and is especially suitable for dressing peripheral and central line catheters, such as IV catheters. Life-supporting devices should not be fixated with Mepore IV. Mepore IV should not replace sutures or other primary wound closure methods.
