Mölnlycke Health Care has a long-standing commitment to minimize environmental impact without compromising the effectiveness and safety of our products. A sound environmental practice is a priority in our production and at our sites around the world.
Mölnlycke implemented an environmental management system in the company in 2001. We were one of the first in the medical device industry to get ISO 14001 certification in 2002 and today all production facilities, as well as our headquarters, are ISO 14001 certified.
We have achieved many of our environmental targets since 2001. But we see that success as merely an incentive to continue developing and improving our environmental work even further. That work includes close cooperation with our customers to ensure we meet or beat their environmental standards, and with our suppliers to ensure they meet or beat us.
