Improved and developed for increased reliability

With the introduction of Mepore in 1979, we actually invented the self-adhesive dressing.

Mepore has constantly improved and developed during the years. Upgraded adhesive, rounded corners for better fixation and increased absorption capacity are just some recent examples. This is important since our aim is to create dressings that you really can rely on - both in terms of wound care and cost efficiency.

In year 2000 the showerproof Mepore pro was launched. Three years later we launched an upgraded version with improved performance on critical product properties.

To this day, more than 1.5 billion pieces of Mepore have been sold. This shows that Mepore is the "original" self-adhesive dressing, and, with ongoing development, Mepore continues to help nurses all over the world to perform a better wound care.
