Draping instructions for BARRIER® Flex universal set, abdominal surgery

1. Remove the middle part of the release paper (no 1) from the adhesive OP-towel. If the full length of the adhesive edge is needed, also remove the two other parts of the release paper.

2. Fix the adhesive OP-towel along laterally to the patient's skin, beginning at the shoulder. Follow the body contour, keep the drape slightly stretched.

3. Hold the adhesive OP-sheet (medium) with your fingers in the fold. Remove the middle part of the release paper.

4. Place the folded adhesive OP-sheet over the mid-line of the abdomen.

5. Remove the rest of the release paper and fix the edges.

 |
6. Unfold the drape over the lower part of the body.
|
 |
7. Remove the middle part of the release paper. Place the folded adhesive OPsheet (large) over the mid-line of the chest. Remove the rest of the release paper and fix the edges.

8. Unfold the rest of the OP-sheet over the anaesthetic frame. Draping completed.
