You will find us near the Mölnlycke Health Care branded totem poles or close to our video wall. Keep your eyes open for our green trousers and white shirts. We want to learn more about your everyday life in the O.R. and share our thinking on how to improve O.R. efficiency.

We will also introduce our solution to the problem of hypothermia during surgery; the BARRIER EasyWarm active warming blanket.

Symposium: Time saving during surgical procedures and simplifying logistics processes
On 28 April at 09h in Auditorium II, Lean Management Consultant Magnus Lord, one of the leading experts in Europe on lean healthcare and change management, will present some inspiring examples of how O.R. processes can be improved within hospitals and demonstrate how it is possible to achieve a 60% productivity increase by building a structure for improvement, based on employees’ own expertise.

Another session we want to highlight will be held on Friday 27 April at 15.30h in Auditorium 1 on the topic of “Infection Prevention”. During this session Ann Folin will present published recommendations for the appropriate time interval of glove change during surgical procedures. Ann was an O.R. nurse in Sweden for 11 years and has spoken at numerous events and congresses. She has worked as clinical nurse co-ordinator for the Nordic markets at Mölnlycke Health Care since 1998.
