New members of the Mölnlycke Board of Directors

Clare Hollingsworth and Fred Colen have recently joined the Mölnlycke Health Care Board of directors. 

Clare Hollingsworth's early career saw her leading businesses with a strong reputation for being customer focused and delivering high quality services. She spent 20 years in the aviation business, starting with British Airways and then becoming CEO of Caledonian Airways. She then moved across into private healthcare where she ran Bupa Hospitals, the second largest private hospital operator in the UK for nearly 10 years. In 2008 she moved from CEO to become deputy chairman and non executive director of Spire Healthcare Ltd, following Bupa selling its hospital business to private equity. She has been involved as a non executive with healthcare businesses in Spain, Ireland and Scandinavia, and is now non executive director with Virgin Healthcare, Eurostar International, Assura Group and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Fred Colen is a technology executive who has led the growth of small, medium and multi-billion dollar medical device businesses throughout the world. He has developed a reputation for innovation and successful commercialization of new medical technology products. Until recently he was the President of the Boston Scientifics’ Cardiac Rhythm Management Group. He furthermore served as Boston Scientifics’ Chief Technology Officer for eight years. Born and raised in the Netherlands, he obtained a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in BioMedical Technology from the RWTH Aachen, Germany. He is currently the CEO of BeneChill.
