Normasol is a sterile solution of 0.9% w/v sodium chloride in purified water, packed in a sachet. Normasol is isotonic, so will not harm cells. Each sachet is sterile, self-contained and disposable resulting in minimal waste and reduced risk of cross contamination.

How Normasol works
Normasol is a convenient unit dose presentation of sterile normal saline for use in wound cleansing and topical irrigation of the eye. A choice of 25ml and 100ml sachets are available to suit the different applications. Single-use sachets avoid waste and are light and easy to carry around.
Each sachet has a shelf-life of three years, when stored in a cool, dark place.
