How technology has changed the landscape of surgery

Mr David Rosin is the cancer surgeon who introduced minimal access general surgery to England in 1990 and St. Mary’s Hospital in London. In this interview he talks about how new technology has changed the landscape of surgery and the challenges it brings. Rosin is a professor at the Queen Elisabeth Hospital, University of the West Indies and specialises in upper gastro-intestinal surgery. He is also past President of the British Association of Cancer Surgeons – Surgical Oncology and past Senior Vice President, The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
