Learn how to drape with the BARRIER® cardiovascular set for CABG by watching the video and instructions below or download the product sheet (738 KB pdf).

1. Place the lower vascular drape under the patient’s legs. Unfold towards the feet and remove all the release papers.

2. Apply the split as low as possible on the lateral side of the patient. Repeat on the other side.

3. Place the integrated genital cover on the patient.

4. Drape the patient’s feet with the foot covers.

5. Place the two adhesive towels on the lateral sides. Note the direction of the pictogram on the thoracic drape.

6. Remove the release paper and place the drape centered on the patient. The upper edge of the incise film should be at suprasternal notch.

7. Unfold the drape only once towards the feet. Keep legs free to enable possible removal of vena saphena magna.

8. Unfold the drape fully towards the head. When appropriate unfold fully towards the feet. Draping is then completed.
