Tubigrip Hip Spica

Tubigrip® Hip Spica holds dressings and drains securely in place following hip surgery. It also helps to prevent haematoma and oedema at the operation site. Some patients with arthritis of the hip joint may also benefit from use of the Hip Spica. Tubigrip Hip Spica is made from double thickness Tubigrip, with touch and close fasteners. Tubigrip Hip Spica is reversible for use on either hip and is washable, for economy. It is autoclavable, for use when sterile application is required. It is easy to apply and remove, for wound inspection or dressing changes. The double thickness Tubigrip fabric preserves body heat as well as offering support, which may be of benefit to patients with an arthritic hip.
