Maintaining a moist wound environment is beneficial for the wound healing process. Normlgel is a gel with 0.9% sodium chloride that helps create an optimal moist wound healing environment. It should be used on dry wounds; either dry healing wounds for adding moisture or wounds covered with dry fibrin in order to dissolve the dry tissue.
