Overview
Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag è costituita da uno strato di contatto in silicone morbido Safetac®, un tampone assorbente in schiuma di poliuretano contenente solfato d'argento e colorato da carbone attivo, uno strato con fibre super assorbenti, un tessuto non tessuto e un film traspirante e impermeabile. Safetac® è una tecnologia adesiva brevettata sviluppata da Mölnlycke che riduce al minimo il dolore dei pazienti e il trauma alla cute intatta o alle ferite. Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag è una medicazione in schiuma di silicone morbido che assorbe l'essudato, mantiene un ambiente umido per la guarigione della ferita e ha proprietà antimicrobiche. Mepilex Border Ag contiene solfato d'argento per creare una barriera antibatterica efficace e inattivare un'ampia gamma di agenti patogeni presenti nelle ferite (batteri e funghi), come dimostrato in vitro. Riducendo il numero di microrganismi, Mepilex Border Ag può anche ridurre l'odore. È stato dimostrato in vitro che Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag inattiva gli agenti patogeni presenti nelle ferite fino a 7 giorni.
