Mepore Film & Pad

Mepore Film & Pad is intended for use on low to moderately exuding wounds, such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions. For body surface use only. Mepore Film & Pad consists of a transparent polyurethane film with a layer of polyacrylic adhesive and wound pad. Wound pad is a viscose fiber pad that contains a low-adhesion wound surface contact layer that can absorb wound exudate. The product composition is as follows: 1) Sticker: Partially cover and form a frame to support the polyurethane film; 2) Polyurethane film; 3) Polyacrylate adhesive; 4) Wound pad: viscose fiber; 5) Release paper: to protect the adhesive. The vapour permeable film is water resistant and provides a barrier which protects from fluid strike through and bacterial contamination. Mepore Film & Pad conforms well to body contours.
