Overview
Mefix is composed of a self-adhesive polyester fiber non-woven fabric, with a water-based polyacrylic adhesive as the bonding agent, and a silicone-coated release paper as the outer isolating layer, which should be removed prior to use. Mefix is an adhesive material in band or sheet form, divided into elastic or non-elastic. Mefix is intended to fix wound dressings, bandages, and similar materials by providing adhesive support, without direct contact with the wound. Mefix is designed for application on intact skin.
