Mepilex Transfer

Mepilex Transfer consists of polyurethane foam coated with a soft silicone contact layer and features a polyethylene protective film on the surface (to be removed prior to use). Safetac® technology Safetac® is a soft silicone adhesive technology designed to minimize pain to patients and trauma to wounds. Mepilex Transfer is soft and thin, allowing it to conform closely to the wound surface and surrounding skin, even in hard-to-reach or uneven areas. Mepilex Transfer’s structure facilitates vertical transfer of exudate to an auxiliary absorbent pad. It can be used in combination with an appropriate secondary dressing to help maintain an optimal wound healing environment. The dressing may be cut to suit various wound shapes and locations. Mepilex Transfer can be used under compression bandaging. Mepilex Transfer is intended for covering skin lesions and ulcers. Mepilex Transfer can be used under compression.
