Mepilex Border er en selvklebende og absorberende bandasje som skal brukes som en del av en profylaktisk terapi for å forhindre trykksår og minimere risikoen for maserasjon. Opprettholder et fuktig sårmiljø ved behandling av sår. Den vanntette toppfilmen beskytter mot smuss og bakterier. Bandasjen har Safetac® sårkontaktlag, som er en unik hefteteknologi. Det minimerer smerte hos pasienten og skade på såret og huden ved fjerning av bandasjen. Mepilex Border består av: • et sårkontaktlag bestående av heftende myk silikon (Safetac) og en filmbærer • en fleksibel absorberende pute i tre lag: et skum, et spredningslag i nonwoven og et lag med superabsorberende fibre. • en ytterfilm som puster, men som er vanntett, og som danner en barriere mot ytre kontaminanter Bandasjematerialets innhold: Silikon, polyuretan, polyakrylat, bomull, viskose, polyester og polyolefin.
