  1. How the product works

  2. Both Surgical site infections ( SSIs) and Healthcare acquired infections (HCAIs ) demand a coordinated approach pre-and post-surgery by healthcare professionals and their patients. Hibiscrub® is your trusted partner in preventing infections, maintaining skin integrity, and saving time before performing surgical procedures. It serves as an effective antimicrobial skin cleanser for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection and pre-operative skin antisepsis for patients undergoing surgery, eliminating a vast number of microorganisms. Hibiscrub contains 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate, offering broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. It is also dermatologically tested and enriched with emollients, ensuring body and hands are protected and moisturised, even with frequent use. Hibiscrub is not absorbed into the skin but binds to it to form a protective layer that removes and kills microorganisms, and continues to do so for a long period of time after application. Unlike povidone iodine, Hibiscrub is not inactivated by bodily fluids .
