Alginate & fibre dressings made of calcium sodium alginate fibres or from gel-forming polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres. Transforming into gel upon contact with wound fluid, these dressings facilitate moist wound healing and ease of removal during dressing change. Available as pad and ribbon dressings.
