  1. How the product works

  3. Mesalt® is a sodium chloride-impregnated non-woven dressing indicated for wounds that produce high levels of wound fluid. Mesalt absorbs wound exudate and the sodium chloride is released. This creates a hypertonic environment, which draws wound fluid, bacteria and necrotic material into the dressing, thereby facilitating the natural wound healing process. Mesalt can be used by lay persons under supervision of Healthcare Professionals. If you are concerned about your wound, please contact your Healthcare Professional.
