Overview
Mepitel® Film is a thin, transparent, breathable soft silicone film dressing designed to protect fragile and sensitive skin. Mepitel Film is highly conformable and adapts well to surface irregularities and varying body contours. It can be used to secure a secondary dressing (e.g. non-woven dressings) or as a landing zone for aggressive tapes, allowing devices to be secured to the patient's skin. The film dressing is supported by a paper delivery frame for ease of application.
