Mepilex Transfer

Mepilex Transfer is a highly conformable dressing that transfers exudate, maintains a moist wound environment and minimizes the risk for maceration, in combination with appropriate secondary dressing,. The dressing has a Safetac® wound contact layer, a unique adhesive technology. It minimizes pain to patients and trauma to wounds and the surrounding skin upon dressing removal. Mepilex Transfer consists of a soft silicone wound contact layer (Safetac) and a thin, flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam. Mepilex Transfer is intended for a wide range of exuding wounds. Mepilex Transfer can also be used as protection of compromised and/or fragile skin.
