Mepilex Border é um curativo autoadesivo absorvente para uso como parte de uma terapia profilática para prevenir lesões por pressão e minimizar o risco de maceração. Para o tratamento de feridas, ele mantém um ambiente úmido. A camada externa impermeável à água protege contra sujeira e bactérias. O curativo tem uma camada de contato com a ferida Safetac® que é uma tecnologia adesiva exclusiva. Minimiza a dor para os pacientes e o trauma para as feridas e pele na remoção do curativo. Mepilex Border é composto por: • uma camada de contato com a ferida constituída por adesivo de silicone macio (Safetac) e uma película de suporte • um pad absorvente flexível em três camadas: uma espuma, uma camada de dispersão de tecido não tecido e uma camada com fibras superabsorventes. • uma película externa que é respirável, mas impermeável à água, fornecendo uma barreira contra contaminantes externos Composição do material do curativo: Silicone, poliuretano, poliacrilato, algodão, viscose, poliéster e poliolefina.
