4 simple steps to take to access the scheme
How it works
-
Step 1 — Talk to your doctor or healthcare professional
Ask your GP, podiatrist, or wound care nurse about the Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme. They can assess whether your wound and your circumstances make you eligible.
-
Step 2 — Your clinician registers you
Once you are assessed as eligible, your CWCS trained clinician will enrol you in the scheme through the government portal. You don't need to do this yourself — your healthcare team will handle the paperwork.
-
Step 3 — Products are selected for your wound
Your clinician will select the right Mölnlycke dressings and wound care regimen for your specific wound type. Whether it's a diabetic foot ulcer, leg ulcer or pressure injury, Mölnlycke has a dressing that will suit that wound type. Products are chosen based on what will heal your wound in the best possible way, adhereing to the gold standard of wound care healing.
-
Step 4 — Products arrive to your door, at no cost to you
Your selected wound dressings are delivered directly to your home at no cost to you. No pharmacy trips, no out-of-pocket expenses. You have access to hospital-quality wound care when you need it most. Please seek assistance from your Healthcare professional and follow the instructions for use.
