Mepilex Border é um penso autoadesivo e absorvente utilizado como parte de um tratamento profilático para prevenir úlceras por pressão e minimizar o risco de maceração. Para o tratamento de feridas, mantém um ambiente húmido na ferida. A camada exterior à prova de água protege da sujidade e bactérias. O penso possui uma camada de contacto com a ferida Safetac® que é uma tecnologia adesiva única. Minimiza a dor nos doentes e o trauma nas feridas e na pele durante a remoção do penso. O Mepilex Border é composto por: • uma camada de contato com a ferida composta por adesivo de silicone suave (Safetac) e um papel protetor • uma espuma absorvente e flexível em três camadas: uma espuma, uma camada de expansão de tecido não tecido e uma camada com fibras super absorventes. • um filme exterior respirável, mas impermeável, que proporciona uma barreira contra contaminantes externos Conteúdo do material do penso: Silicone, poliuretano, poliacrilato, algodão, viscose, poliéster e poliolefina.
