Mölnlycke ANZ is based in Sydney, with a team supporting healthcare professionals and partners across both Australia and New Zealand. Our focus is to bring Mölnlycke world-leading wound care and surgical solutions closer to local clinicians, customers, and patients.
We work alongside hospitals, community care providers, and distributors to ensure healthcare teams have access to the right products, information, and support when they need it.

Mölnlycke to separate its surgical solutions business into a standalone company
Gothenburg, Sweden. 16 September 2026. Mölnlycke®, a global leader in MedTech, announces its intention to separate its Operating Room Solutions (ORS) and Gloves businesses into a new standalone company (referred to here as “Mölnlycke Surgical”). The separation is intended to create conditions for both Mölnlycke and Mölnlycke Surgical to reach their full potential and drive value creation long-term.

Mölnlycke Health Care (“Mölnlycke®”), a global leader in MedTech, today confirmed a combined investment of approximately EUR 40 million in Mikkeli, Finland, and Oldham, UK. The investments strengthen the company’s global wound care manufacturing network by increasing capacity, optimising process quality and enhancing supply chain resilience and sustainability.

Tue, Mar 24, 2026 Today, it was announced that Zlatko Rihter, CEO of Mölnlycke Health Care, has informed the Board of Directors of his decision to resign. Following his decision, Guillaume Joucla, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed interim CEO of Mölnlycke Health Care. Mölnlycke’s Board has initiated the recruitment process for a permanent CEO.

High burnout among operating room staff poses significant risk to patient safety—new review reveals
Gothenburg, Sweden. 17 September 2025. A new narrative review published in the current issue of Journal of Patient Safety, titled ’Putting Patients at Risk: The Effect of Health Care Provider Burnout on Patient Care in the Operating Room’ reveals alarmingly high levels of burnout among healthcare workers in operating rooms (ORs) and warns of the serious implications for staff well-being, care quality and ultimately patient safety.
