Tortoise Turning and Positioning System

Mölnlycke® Tortoise® Turning and Positioning System is designed to assist with patient turning and repositioning and may be used as part of prophylactic therapy to help prevent pressure injuries. It promotes easy patient handling while also serving as a support surface. The system facilitates pressure redistribution by increasing the contact surface area. Mölnlycke Tortoise Turning and Positioning System consists of a positioning pad with a low-pressure air chamber, which adapts to the patient shape by displacing air as the patient is repositioned, providing sacral offloading. It also consists of a rip-stop cover with reinforced handles, enabling caregivers to easily turn and reposition the patient while maintaining proper body mechanics. The system includes a Mölnlycke Z-Flo™ Fluidized Positioner, which supports the positioning pad in sacral offloading by maintaining neutral body alignment and desired therapeutic angle of patient.
