The story of how Mepilex helped revolutionise wound care
The Mepilex® family of dressings has touched millions of lives since it was first developed over 25 years ago. The core innovation behind the Mepilex dressing range is Safetac® Technology, the adhesive used in our early Mepitel® dressings designed specifically to minimise damage to the wound and skin and, as a consequence, pain at dressing removal.
How did the Mepilex family of wound dressings develop?
Mepilex dressings have enjoyed continuous innovation over a quarter of a century, leading to new shapes, new absorbency levels and new applications, helping millions of patients to less painful healing.
