Mepi™ Press 2 and Mepi™ Press 2 Lite are two-layer compression systems designed with a printed application indicator1 to support appropriate application and effective compression therapy for venous disease and edema.2

  • The clinical challenge: Delivering consistent pressure.

Venous leg ulcers, chronic venous insufficiency and lower-limb edema all require sustained, therapeutic compression to support venous return and reduce swelling.

In both acute and post-acute settings, delivering a consistent pressure is harder than it looks application technique varies between clinicians, caseloads are heavy, limb shapes differ, and fragile skin narrows the margin for error.

  • Mepi™ Press 2 & Mepi™ Press 2 Lite: The solution for consistent compression.

Mepi™ Press 2 and Mepi™ Press 2 Lite are designed to help standardize application while supporting effective long-term compression therapy.2 The printed indicator on the bandage acts as a visual guide during application,1 and the extensibility limiter in the first layer reduces the margin for error.1 The result is a user-friendly system designed to support consistent, confident compression.

    • Self-adherent and cohesive – no additional fixation1
    • Tearable by hand; scissors optional, not required1
    • One application technique across 18-32cm or 7.1-12.6" ankle circumference5,6
    • Low-profile inner layer, wearable with most shoes1

Two layers, each doing one job.

  • Mepi™ Press 2 and Mepi™ Press 2 Lite are single-use, non-sterile, multi-component compression systems consisting of:2

  • Layer 1: White Padding Bandage

Mepi Press 2 Layer 1: White Padding Bandage

    • Cushions and distributes pressure1
    • Protects sensitive skin1
    • Conforms to limb shape1
    • Soft, elastic, non-woven and cohesive on one side, witha. relatively low profile1
  • Layer 2: Brown Compression Bandage

Mepi Press 2 Layer 2: Brown Compression Bandage

    • Cohesive coating supports secure placement1
    • Tearable during application; scissors may be used if preferred1
    • Printed indicator gives a clear visual guide to correct stretch, helping reduce application variability1
  • Together, the layers form a compression system that provides optimal pressure distribution1, can remain in place for up to 7 days (based on clinical judgment),2 and does not require additional fixation.1

  • A printed indicator acts as a visual cue for correct, consistent compression.

The printed symbol acts as a visual guide during application and is the difference between a bandage that is guessed at and one that is applied to its intended pressure.1 It appears on the outer bandage of Mepi™ Press 2 and on both bandages of Mepi™ Press 2 Lite.5,6

  • Understretched indicator

    Understretched

The diamond is still taller than it is wide. Keep stretching – you haven't reached full stretch yet.

  • Correct stretch

    Correct

The diamond has become a square. This is full stretch, and where the bandage is designed to be applied.

  • Overstretched indicator

    Overstretched

The shape has flattened past square. Ease off until the sides are even again.

  • Why clinicians choose Mepi™ Press 2 & Mepi™ Press 2 Lite.

Effective compression is only part of the equation. For therapy to succeed, patients need a solution they can tolerate and clinicians need one they can apply with confidence. Mepi™ Press 2 & Mepi™ Press 2 Lite combine effective compression with an intuitive two-layer design to help support consistent therapy and better patient outcomes.

  • Mepi Press 2 and Mepi Press 2 Lite

  • The Mepi™ Press system is available in two versions:

Mepi™ Press 2 and Mepi™ Press 2 Lite. The latter is for patients who require lighter compression.

    • Mepi™ Press 2 is indicated for long-term compression therapy for venous diseases and edema caused by other factors (in patients with an ABI – ankle brachial pressure index – of 0.8-1.3).5
    • Mepi™ Press 2 Lite is indicated for long-term compression therapy of mixed (arterial and venous etiology) leg ulcers, venous diseases and edema caused by other factors that requires compression (in patients with an ABI – ankle brachial pressure index – of 0.6-0.8).6

Supporting Therapeutic Outcomes

When applied according to the IFU with 50% overlap1, the system provides consistent, targeted resting pressures–approximately 40 mmHg for Mepi™ Press 23 and 30 mmHg for Mepi™ Press 2 Lite4–helping ensure reliable therapeutic performance.1

Designed for use in clinical and home environments by healthcare professionals.2

Safety Information

Mepi™ Press 2 is indicated for patients with an ABI of 0.8-1.3. Mepi™ Press 2 Lite is indicated for patients with and ABI of 0.6-0.8.5,6 For full warnings and instructions, refer to the IFU and product labeling.

Before starting therapy, a Doppler examination should be performed to determine ABI.5,6 Before applying Mepi™ Press 2 or Mepi™ Press 2 Lite, the wound must be cleaned and covered with a suitable wound dressing.5,6 Application must be performed by trained healthcare professionals and€may be adapted based on anatomy, pathology, or physician instruction.
