Dyanne Quiroz is an IIWCC-certified homecare nurse with expertise in managing Chronic Wound Diseases, particularly Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). She applies her knowledge of wound healing, infection control, and treatment modalities to create personalised care plans, and to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Dyanne is passionate about making a tangible impact on patients' lives, particularly those suffering from debilitating diseases. Alleviating their pain and improving their quality of life through innovative and compassionate care is truly fulfilling to her, and as a homecare wound care nurse, pressure injury prevention is her top priority.
Her focus is to identify patients at risk, implement tailored prevention strategies, and educate family caregivers and healthcare teams on best practices to promote overall patient well-being in the comfort of their own homes.

Dyanne emphasises that pressure injury prevention is evolving with technology and evidence-based practices. Furthermore, collaboration and education will remain key in the future, with a focus on empowering patients and caregivers.
