Mölnlycke Health Care inaugurates new global headquarters at GoCo Health Innovation City

Gothenburg, Sweden. 21 May 2025 – Mölnlycke Health Care, a global leader in MedTech, has officially opened its new global headquarters at GoCo Health Innovation City in Gothenburg, Sweden—a major milestone in its journey to drive sustainable healthcare innovation.

The grand opening brought together business partners and thought leaders from industry, academia and healthcare. A highlight was a panel discussion entitled “Who should lead the transformation towards sustainable healthcare,” featuring:

  • Boubou Hallberg, Chief Executive Officer of Sahlgrenska University Hospital

The discussion underscored the urgency—and opportunity—of transformation towards sustainable healthcare, as well as the critical role of cross-sector collaboration to achieve this.

The new headquarters triples Mölnlycke’s laboratory space, significantly expanding its capacity for research and development. Positioned within one of Sweden’s most dynamic life science ecosystems, the facility enhances Mölnlycke’s ability to attract top global talent and co-create with health innovators.
