Gothenburg, Sweden. 27 January 2026. Mölnlycke Health Care, a global leader in MedTech, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, is celebrating the production of 100 million ProcedurePak® trays at the company’s production sites in the Czech Republic.

This achievement reflects Mölnlycke’s commitment to more efficient and sustainable surgical care. With 100 million trays delivered, Mölnlycke has facilitated millions of procedures across the world, helping hospitals improve operating room workflows and consistency. Customised ProcedurePak trays can reduce surgical preparation time by up to 40%¹, giving healthcare teams more time to focus on patients and supporting smoother, more predictable operations.
“Reaching 100 million trays is far more than a production milestone. It represents a meaningful contribution to many millions of procedures in operating rooms worldwide. We are incredibly proud of the role we play in supporting healthcare systems and improving patient outcomes every single day,” says Fredrik Wallefors, Executive Vice President, Operating Room Solutions, Mölnlycke Health Care.
Mölnlycke’s customised ProcedurePak trays are assembled to contain all the single-use components required for a particular surgical intervention, replacing numerous individually packaged items. This tailored approach helps generate significant savings in time, cost and waste2 across both major and minor procedures.
